International Summer School 2023 "New Challenges for European Integration – the Ukrainian War and its Implications"

International Summer School on "New Challenges for European Integration – the Ukrainian War and its Implications" took place at University of Split’s Faculty of Law, jointly organized by University of Saarland’s Europe Institute, SEELS Network and University of Split’s Faculty of Law.

More than twenty participants from six countries attended the Summer School, listening to lectures by professors from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, North Macedonia, Serbia and Ukraine.

This is already fifth International Summer School organized in a similar format at the Faculty of Law in Split. The focus of this year's summer school was, among other things, important and current topics such as future of European Union enlargement policy, EU's reaction to war in Ukraine, international humanitarian law, new European neighborhood policy strategy, and development of European security strategy.
