Webinar: Green Deal Call

The University of Split, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education, is organizing a webinar (on) the Green Deal Call. The webinar will take place on Thursday, October 29, starting at 11am.

The Green Deal Call is the last and largest call published by the Framework Program for Research and Development - Horizon 2020, with a total value of 1 billion euros, which will finance innovation and research projects aimed at achieving a climate-neutral Europe.

The call covers 8 thematic and 3 horizontal areas:

1. Increasing climate ambitions: cross-sectoral challenges

2. Clean, affordable and safe energy

3. Industry for clean and circular economy

4.  Energy and resources-saving buildings

5. Sustainable and smart mobility

6. From the farm to the table

7. Restoration of biodiversity and ecosystem services

8. Environment without pollution and harmful substances

9. Strengthening our understanding in support of the European Green Agenda

10. Empowering citizens for the transition to a climate-neutral, sustainable Europe

11. Accelerating change to clean energy and accessing partnership with Africa

Within certain areas, several tenders have been announced to provide funding for various activities, from innovation and research to coordination and support activities. The deadline for submitting project proposals is January 26, 2021.

The webinar will present the objectives of the European Green Plan and the conditions of the tenders, as well as the national support system for the Framework Program for Research and Innovation. The expected duration of the webinar is 1 hour, with the possibility of adding more time for discussion.
