Ca' Foscari
University of Venice has adopted new policies to boost researchers' careers.
On March
12th, 2014, the new Call Marie Sklodowska-Curie - Individual Fellowships was
launched in the frame of Horizon 2020, the European Programme for Research and
Innovation.
The
objective of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions is to support the career
development and training of researchers with a bottom up approach in all
scientific disciplines through worldwide and cross-sector mobility and will
award 6,162 million euros over the period 2014-2020.
With the
same objectives of promoting excellence and support the training and the career
development of researchers, Ca' Foscari University of Venice encourages
researchers from abroad to apply for a grant and to choose Ca' Foscari
University as Host Institution.
To this
end, Ca' Foscari's International Research Office is willing to provide
researches with all the support needed to draft their proposals. In case of
approval of the MSCA project, the researcher will be hired with a full time
contract of the same duration of the project (up to 36 months). The average
salary of a MSCA fellow in Italy is around 4000 euros per month (after taxes).
