On Monday, September 27, 2021, Welcome Day was held for foreign exchange students in the winter semester of 2021/2022, organized by the University of Split’s Department for International and Interuniversity Cooperation.

The students were greeted by the Department head, Ana Ćosić, and then an expert associate, Dora Ganza, presented all University’s activities for incoming students and gave them some basic information related to their studies and everyday life in Split.

Antonio Župan, representative of the Split University Sports Federation, presented to students sports and recreational activities that take place throughout the academic year for all University of Split’s students with the aim of encouraging active sports life and raising the quality of study.

Ana Batinić, representative of the ESN Split association, presented all activities organized for foreign students with the aim of connecting and fully integrating them into student life and the academic community.

At the beginning of this academic year, the University of Split welcomed about 250 foreign students from 18 countries, which marks an increase even compared to pre-pandemic figures.
