At its session held on July 28, 2021, the Electronic Media Council made a decision on selecting the most favorable bidder for ​​the City of Split.

Following the Rector’s decision, the University of Split competed for the concession and was, based on a secret ballot, unanimously selected as the most favorable bidder.

The said decision grants the University of Split a radio concession on the said area for a period of 11 years.

Radio Kampus has been active for over seven years, and it is a students’ radio project led by the association 'Split’s Students for Students '. For the last four years, students' voices could be heard online at www.radiokampus.com.hr, and this year it was decided to make one big step towards obtaining a radio frequency and place the University of Split side by side with other world universities, as well as universities in Croatia that have had its student radio frequency for years.
