University Gallery’s rich program for Museum Night: opening of Academy of Arts’ student exhibition and a concert by "Sanctus Domnio"

The University Gallery prepared a real art and music experience for the 18th Museum Night, which took place on January 27.

The program began by opening the exhibition Painting and what can it do: class of 2022. The exhibition presents graduation works of Split Academy of Arts Painting Department students, who graduated in 2022. Works by three graduates from prof. Nina Ivančić’ class were exhibited: Ana Heski, Matea Rančić and Marieta Vulić; and three from prof. Viktor Popović and assist. prof. art. Neli Ružić’ class: Mak Hubjer, Marija Petrović and Palmina Roglić. Mentor for theory in all graduate works was assoc. prof. Blaženka Perica Ph.D.

The program continued with a concert of film scores and original compositions for mandolin by Split authors performed by the City Mandolin Orchestra "Sanctus Domnio" from Split.

The program included works by I. Tijardović, V. Sunko, T. Kalebić, N. Rota, E. Morricone, J. Lennon, P. McCartney and others.
