On October 1, 2021, the first generation of students in the undergraduate university study of Psychology was formally welcomed. 24 students successfully enrolled the Psychology program in English, which officially marked their beginning of the new academic year 2021/2022.

Vice-rector, prof. Goran Kardum Ph.D., who is also a member of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, addressed the students on behalf of the University of Split and its rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D. Vice-rector Kardum wished the present students a successful start to the academic year and emphasized how important the starting of study of Psychology was for the entire University, especially since this is first such study in English in Croatia. The Dean, assoc. prof. Gloria Vickov Ph.D. and Vice-dean assoc. prof. Ina Reić Ercegovac Ph.D., also deputy to the head of study, assoc. prof. Darko Hren Ph.D., also greeted the students on behalf of the Administration and the Faculty.

The fact that this is first such study in English in this part of Europe is a reason for great pride, but also an obligation for students to use their knowledge in achieving excellent academic results.
