The 30th international scientific conference SoftCOM 22 finished

he thirtieth international scientific conference on software, telecommunications and computer networks, SoftCOM 2022, organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding, took place in the Radisson Blu Split hotel in a hybrid form, with live or online participation.

Elia Berteletti PhD, from Partner, McKinsey & Company, gave the plenary presentation "Yes!, Agile for hardware R&D really works" and Ante Mihovilovic, Ericsson AB’s VP and Head of Product Development, Unit Packet Core, plenary presentation "5G networks, impact on the industry and cloud-native transformation".

The whole program included 130 presentations of scientific and professional works. Papers presented at the conference will be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

The scientific program of the conference included 16 sessions. In the general part, the following sessions were held: Machine Learning Applications I/II, Signal Processing, 5G&B5G Technologies, Wireless Communications, Optical Communications, Software and System Engineering, Vehicular Communications, IoT Systems and Services, and Natural Language Processing. Special sessions dedicated to current topics in the fields of information and communication technology include QoS in Wired and Wireless Networks, Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks, Green Networking and Computing, Security and Digital Forensics, Environmental Electromagnetic Compatibility, Robotic and ICT Assisted Wellbeing and Advanced Educational Technologies.

The 11th Workshop on Software Engineering in Practice and Workshop on Process Compliance and Control were held as part of the economic forum.

In the special part of the program dedicated to students, PhD Forum workshop was organized for PhD students and the 21st Ericsson Nikola Tesla Summer Camp workshop for graduate students.
