„SOMETHING MORE II“- AN EXIBITION BY DAJANA DURIĆ

Last Friday, September 17, the University gallery „Vasko Lipovac“ hosted the exhibition Something more II by Dajana Durić, a multimedia artist from Rijeka.

The author presents herself at the exhibition with her work - an ambient installation of visual and sensory content in which visitors have active control over their experience. The installation consists of a large number of hand-sewn circles differing in color, way they are created, size and smell. Some circles are filled with various herbs; some are sprayed with scented liquid, and the rest of them do not have an odor. Visitors are supposed to find scents in the space on their own, scents that can be felt more intensely when they get near the circles. The author’s aim is to encourage visitors to actively participate in artworks and to mentally complete them with their own experience.

The exhibition Something More II will remain open until September 30, open to the public in Gallery's working hours from 9 to 12 a.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.
