Rector prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D. met the Croatian Academic Sports Federation representatives

Representatives of the Croatian Academic Sports Federation (HASS), the newly elected president, Haris Pavletić, and sports director, Nikola Vincetić, visited University of Split. At the Rectorate, they met prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., University of Split’s Rector, and Toni Gamulin, Head of Department for Student Standard and Sports, also the Federation’s Vice President.

In the meeting, they discussed possibilities of developing academic sports in Croatia, or University of Split. They emphasized how well University cooperated with HASS, evidenced by great interest University of Split’s students show for sports activities, in UniSport competitions, free recreation, other organizational aspects and performing for University's representation in official international university competitions, organized by University Sports Federation (FISU) and European University Sports Federation (EUSA).

In addition to that, University of Split’s management provides constant support to students who want to pursue sports, both financing their activities and supporting various programs and projects, one of them being the Healthy Campus.

The Croatian Academic Sports Federation (HASS) is the only national sports federation that encourages, promotes and takes care of sports in higher education institutions and represents it internationally.
