On Thursday, September 16, 2021, in front of the Three Faculties Building, university bachelors and masters (university specialists) from the Faculty of Science in Split had their graduation.

Dean of the Faculty, prof. Nikola Koceić – Bilan Ph.D., together with the vice dean for teaching, assist. prof. Nikola Marangunić Ph.D., vice dean for science, assist. prof. Viljemko Bučević - Popović Ph.D. and vice dean for business, assist. prof. Vladimir Pleština Ph.D., promoted 114 masters and 142 university bachelors, and presented awards to the most successful students.

Beginning his address to graduated students, the Dean emphasized that the promotion is the happiest day of the year at this institution and the reason why the Faculty of Science has been successfully educating young people and preparing them for the world of work for 76 years.

He told them to be proud of their diplomas and education they received at the Faculty of Science, because they are internationally recognized, well known and confirm that they have mastered the universal world language of science, which we use to describe the world and answer all questions that plague humanity. He reminded them of Einstein's words that the measure of intelligence is not only knowledge but also imagination.

"We have given you knowledge and stimulated your imagination, and it is up to you to ignite and take advantage of it. Your mission is not only to be responsible and professional in your workplaces, but to change the world around you, critically observe it, expose lies and deceptions in society and politics, as well as to promote the true values ​​we have taught you "- said the dean before handing them diplomas.
