Sign up for Ocean Hackathon! Give your contribution to our seas, learn, socialize, and win great prizes!

Ocean Hackathon® is a 48-hour event during which teams have a unique opportunity to develop innovative ideas using digital data related to the sea and coastal areas. The competition will take place this year from November 5-7 on 5 continents and in 15 cities around the world. Trip and all costs for winners from each city were covered for the final competition in Brest, to be held at the end of the year, prizes also awaiting winners of the local competition in Split.

Owners of the challenge need motivated and enthusiastic members willing to try something new and offer solutions to important issues related to the sea and coastal areas within 48 hours. Eight challenges have been registered in Split, and you can learn more about them and ways you can help in the catalogue.

Registrations are open and the application deadline is November 5th.

The organizers of Ocean Hackathon® at the University of Split are its Technology Transfer Office, with partners the European Entrepreneurship Network and the SPI Entrepreneurship Incubator, with the support of the ICT County.
