Online international conference Week of Innovative Regions in Europe WIRE 2020

The online international conference Week of Innovative Regions in Europe, WIRE 2020, is being held November 4 to 6, in view of the Croatian Presidency of the EU Council 2020, organized by the Faculty of Economics in Split, with the support of the European Commission, the Directorate General for Research and Innovation and government bodies: the Ministry of Science and Education, Split-Dalmatia County and the City of Split.

The conference will host numerous lectures and debates by top European experts in science and practice, related to research results, innovation and regional development. Due to the current epidemiological situation, the conference will be held online.

Week of Innovative Regions in Europe (WIRE) is the main forum for European policies related to innovation and regional development. This annual international conference serves as a platform where policy makers, public bodies, knowledge centers and businesses can discuss research and innovation (R&I), challenges and opportunities in European regions, with a direct overview of current and future EU funding programs. The conference is also open to the interested public.
