RACE OF LEGENDS 

The legends of Split are competing against the legends of Oxford and Cambridge – the alumni that have rowed in the legendary Boat Race on River Thames in the past 15 years and that have won the brightest Olympic and World Championships medals. 

UNIVERSITY RACE SPLIT - ZAGREB

The rivalry between the north and the south always has the potential to become a spectacle. The best students from Zagreb and Split will measure their strengths in the race of eternal rivals. The last race between those two rivals was held in 1987 at lake Jarun. 

SYDNEY 2000 REMATCH GREAT BRITAIN - CROATIA

Sydney 2000 men's eighth Olympic final comes in Split. On 24 of September will be 21 years of the greatest Croatian team success in rowing - bronze medal at Olympic games. The public will have the opportunity to see the rematch between gold and bronze medalists from Olympics 2000. 

The well-deserved prizes of the contestants will be awarded on the Peristil, square in front of the Cathedral of Sveti Duje.
