Internship Day and Your employer are events the Faculty of Economics in Split organized on September 7 for its students. This was an excellent opportunity for companies offering internships to meet interested students, present their business and internship tasks, as well as find optimal candidates that fit their needs.

Besides companies, the students were also introduced to non-profit organizations where they can, using knowledge and skills acquired in their study programs, directly help and contribute to their social environment.

Assoc. prof. Slavko Šodan Ph.D., coordinator for the Internship program, pointed out that the possibility of performing internship is an opportunity for them to apply what they have learned in practice and to gain new knowledge and skills.

- What we are particularly pleased about is that, in anonymous polls, students expressed satisfaction with this form of education, because they are gaining new valuable knowledge and what they have learned was useful to them. We are particularly pleased with the fact that one in three students got a job offer after completing the Internship, during his studies - Slavko Šodan asserted.

Faculty of Economics in Split holds the international EFMD accreditation, which ranks it among world's best study programs in business economics, and is the only economics faculty in Croatia accredited for study programs in Croatian language.
