The University of Brest initiated organization of the humanitarian race La Solidaire de Brest this year as well. In addition to the central event in Brest, attended by University of Split students, races were also held in other partner cities.

One of the races took place on April 1 in Split, where despite bad weather, some 50 students and university staff participated in the central event on Marjan.

University of Split Faculty of Kinesiology students cooperated in organizing the race and University Department for Health Studies students, led by Željko Kovačević Ph.D. dominated. Students and staff who were there thanked prof. Stipan Janković Ph.D., who persuaded and supported them to actively participate in sports activities.

All those who reported their "humanitarian kilometres" on Strava app, helped associations "Un Reve, un sourire" and "Les Joëlettes du Bout du Monde" from Brest. Based on kilometres added up, Decathlon, this event’s main sponsor, will pay a sum to these associations, depending on number of participants and their kilometres covered.
