At our SEA-EU partner University of Brest (Université de Bretagne Occidentale UBO), the IUPAC Global Women's Breakfast GWB 2023 event took place yesterday, marking the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (celebrated February 11 every year).

Theme of this year's GWB was breaking barriers in science, and prof. Nediljka Vukojević Medvidović from University of Split’s Faculty of Chemistry and Technology, invited by prof. Françoise Conan from the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences in Brest (Faculté des sciences et techniques),.

This interesting initiative contributes to promoting global goal 5 (Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls), which gives it a mark of sustainable development.
