In 2021 University of Split scientists among 2 percent most cited in the world

The traditional study prepared by a research group from Stanford University in California (USA) based on data from Scopus was published for 2021. As part of the study, which includes the most cited 2 percent of world scientists in certain branches of science, two lists were published - most influential scientists for 2021 and most influential scientists in their entire scientific careers, and scientists from University of Split achieved notable success in both.

The list of the most influential scientists in 2021 includes: Frano Barbir and Sandro Nižetić (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding), Ante Munjiza (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy), Damir Vukičević (Faculty of Science), Ana Marušić (School of Medicine), Ognjen Bonacci (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy), Ozren Polašek, Ivana Kolčić and Janoš Terzić (School of Medicine), Igor Jerković and Mladen Miloš (Faculty of Chemistry and Technology).

Most influential scientists on the list for their entire careers are: Frano Barbir and Ante Munjiza (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy), Ana Marušić (School of Medicine), Ognjen Bonacci (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy), Mladen Miloš (Faculty of Chemistry and Technology), Sandro Nižetić (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding), Matko Marušić and Ivana Kolčić (School of Medicine), Igor Jerković and Josip Mastelić (Faculty of Chemistry and Technology), Dragan Poljak (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding) and Ratko Katić (Faculty of Kinesiology).
