The Croatian academic community, in cooperation with Hanns Seidel Stiftung, organizes a student academy at the end of September every year; this time entitled "The position of youth in future EU labour market".

Academy’s first day started at University of Split, where the Rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., community’ long-time friend, greeted everyone in Rector’s hall.

In their welcome speeches, the attendees were addressed by the following: HSS office in Croatia’s director, Aleksandra Markić Boban M.Sc., president of the community’s Academic Council, prof. Mislav Grgić Ph.D., and its president for Croatia, Karlo Kolesar.

After introductory speeches, lectures emphasizing the education of young people and their participation in the labour market followed.
