Green innovations marked Hack4Split 2023

This year's Hack4Split hackathon took place in the premises of SPINIT incubator, organized by the Entrepreneurship Centre Split and Faculty of Economics’ Student Entrepreneurship Incubator, as part of the University Green Digital project. As many as eight teams with 33 participants worked in a cheerful and proactive atmosphere on solving various social problems, thus contributing to our community’s progress.

The sixth hackathon gathered a great number of talented people with excellent ideas that resulted in projects applicable in various social and economic spheres, with a common denominator - use of modern technologies.

The "Smart Library" team won "Best Design" award for the prototype they created in just two days. The "Sortify" team won "Best Green Solution"  award, while the overall winners of the hackathon, with the "Best Team" award, are the "BeBee" team.

Hack4Split, as a green-oriented hackathon, in the University Green Digital HUB project, is taking place at three locations this year, at partner universities in Spain, Germany and Croatia. Main goal of this project is to strengthen digital, green and entrepreneurial skills of students, university start-ups and employees, as well as to strengthen capacities of higher education institutions in the field of teaching for digital and green transitions.

The project "University Green Digital HUB" lasts for 24 months, and is co-financed with Erasmus+ program funds.
