Free online "Short course on HPC-based Computational Bio-Medicine"

The free online course, "Short course on HPC-based Computational Bio-Medicine", run by BSC (Barcelona Supercomputing Center), in cooperation with CompBioMed Center of Excellence (https://www.compbiomed.eu/), will take place via Zoom February 15. to 18, and it could be really interesting to staff of these faculties: School of Medicine, Department of Health Studies, Faculty of Science, etc.

The course includes areas related to using High Performance Computing (HPC) in biomedical research. Some lectures included in the course are "Introduction to Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD)", "A brief introduction to large-scale constraint based metabolic modeling and analysis", etc. The course will allow users to use the Marenostrum supercomputer in order to perform practical examples.
