The final conference of the project "Functional integration of the University of Split, PMF-ST, PF-ST and KTF-ST through the development of scientific and research infrastructure in the building of three faculties" took place on June 20 in the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology’s large amphitheater.
Together with Rector Ljutić, City of Split Mayor, Prof. Ivica Puljak Ph.D. opened the conference, praising our University’s successes and excellent cooperation with the City.
University of Split successfully realized the significant project "Functional integration of University of Split, PMF-ST, PF-ST and KTF-ST, through the development of scientific and research infrastructure in the Three Faculties Building" - total value HRK 82,870,870.38 / EUR 10,998,854.65, fully financed by EU grants, from the European Fund for Regional Development within Operational Program for Competitiveness and Cohesion.
Using the mentioned equipment, University of Split will achieve scientific excellence because now scientists have the equipment that will certainly increase their productivity, publishing articles in journals indexed in respected databases, and participation in numerous projects. The equipment will also be used by scientists from other institutions, as well as businessmen mentored by scientists and all other interested parties in our surroundings.
With this project, University of Split and partner faculties made a significant step towards the community, by ensuring continuous implementation of numerous projects for the benefit of science, the economy, also society as a whole, with a special emphasis on research and developing peculiarities related to Dalmatia, which, abounds in numerous potentials.
