The European Charlemagne Youth Prize is awarded to projects led by young people, promoting European and international understanding.
The award highlights the daily work of young people across Europe in strengthening European democracy and supports their active participation in shaping the future of Europe. ESN (Erasmus Student Network) Split is the national winner of this year's "Charlemagne" Youth Prize, with the project “European coolture+”.
First step in the awarding process is appointing national winners in 2022, the jury in Croatia selected the project "European coolture+", which deals with raising awareness of preventing discrimination in all areas. "European coolture+" is, so far, ESN Split’s largest project and includes about 300 young people from several European countries. Since 2008, more than 4,250 projects competed for this award.
