In Faculty of Economics’ grand amphitheatre, the owner of the Split resort Le Méridien Lav and the Odien group, Mr. Michael Saran, gave a lecture on "Personal view on finding balance and happiness in life". University of Split students and professors attended the lecture co-organized by Split Faculty of Humanities’ Centre for Career Planning and Development, University of Split’s Office for Career Management the and Split Faculty of Economics.
This was an opportunity for Mr. Saran to present his rich life and business experience to assembled students and provide an insight into ways of achieving a balance between busy business world and active sports life he enjoys himself.
As part of the lecture, Mr. Saran also presented a program of sports and educational scholarships for Split-Dalmatia County’s pupils and students. Before the lecture, Vice-rector for students, teaching and business, prof. Nikola Koceić-Bilan Ph.D. and Faculty of Economics’ Dean, assoc. prof. Vinko Muštra Ph.D., addressed the students pointing out that this Le Méridien Lav resort and Mr. Saran’s initiative gives University of Split’s students direct insight into labour market opportunities and builds excellent cooperation between leading companies in our area.
