At the University of Split, till today 21 persons tested positive for COVID-19, 17 of which are Medical students in English, and four in other faculties/departments. Their close contacts are also in self-isolation, while classes in the Study of Medicine in English continue online, for all years of study.

Thanks to good coordination and cooperation of the University of Split, the COVID-19 Epidemic Center, the School of Medicine, the Health Center and the Institute of Public Health, all those involved are familiar with everything and the situation is under control, teaching did not stop at the University and everything is proceeding as planned.

The University of Split is taking additional efforts to contain the current epidemic, so now, all students and employees have at their disposal the telephone number 099/COVID19, or 099/268-4319, within the COVID-19 Epidemic Center, where they can get all relevant information related to this disease.

In addition to that, the University of Split, in cooperation with the Student Center and the Student Union, will make sure that to students who cannot rely on the help of somebody close, food be delivered from student restaurants, necessary medicines delivered and hygiene supplies provided for.

We ask once again of all University’s students and employees to behave responsibly and adhere to epidemiological measures, both in the premises of their faculties and in their free time.
