ATOS Croatia scholarships awarded to four University of Split students

Four students from the University of Split, Želimir Vukoja and Mijo Mišić from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Luka Farkaš and Josip Katić from the Faculty of Science received scholarships for 2022 from ATOS in the amount of HRK 4,000 per month.

Scholarships were presented to them at a special ceremony at the Split-Dalmatia County’s Pre-Incubation and Coworking Centre, PICS@FESB by the head of ATOS Croatia Global Delivery Centre, Boris Bajtl, and County Prefect Blaženko Boban.

On behalf of University of Split, prof. Tomislav Kilić Ph.D. attended the ceremony, who greeted those present and expressed the University's support for this initiative, which will certainly provide these young people with additional motivation to continue their work and education. He also said how satisfied he was with the fact that our students are recognized worldwide as valuable and highly educated.

- Our scholarships of HRK 4,000 per month are the largest in Croatia. Only four students from Split, Zagreb and Osijek get them. They are the future staff sought after both in Croatia and the rest of the world. There is a huge demand for them and 30% bigger every year. The need is so great that at the moment we can hire everyone who contacts us, said Bajtl.
