Assoc. prof. Jadranka Šepić Ph.D. awarded by the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts for the highest scientific and artistic achievement, in 2020, field of natural sciences

Assoc. prof. Jadranka Šepić Ph.D., from the Faculty of Science, got the Award of the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts for the highest scientific and artistic achievement in the Republic of Croatia for 2020 in the field of natural sciences.
During the last five years of research, Assoc. prof. Jadranka Šepić Ph.D. focused on meteorological tsunamis, potentially devastating high-frequency sea level oscillations caused by atmospheric processes. In this time, she also published 15 papers on this topic, four of which she authored, including papers in the most prestigious scientific journals in the field of geophysics.

Her scientific work was recognized by the international scientific community, so in 2019, Jadranka Šepić Ph.D. was awarded a prestigious project of the European Research Council.
