The company Sailboat RC, in cooperation with Split’s Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism’s Student Business Incubator, has an open call for all interested students to participate in the project "Students as Maritime Innovators!" which will take place until the end of 2022.

During the project’s implementation, most promising students will be selected and, together with representatives of the company and the Student Business Incubator, go through all processes of a successful startup’s functioning of in the maritime sector. They will get to know daily production tasks, see how marketing, market segmentation, procurement, human resources and innovation management, as well as many other activities necessary for business in the real sector, functions.

Goals of this program are: to create an offer of products and experiences based on maritime tradition, preserving, protecting, developing and promoting maritime heritage, historical and natural values ​​of Split-Dalmatia County, to promote the project "Maritime (is) good", to encourage applying appropriate ecological standards in protecting and valorizing maritime environment, to reduce harmful consequences of pollution coming from maritime facilities and to educate the local population.

Number of participants is limited and applications open until October 10, 2022 via the form - https://forms.gle/qBwa8EZTU2Sh2Ngg9, after which there will be a selection of candidates and the activities start on October 17.

The project is co-financed from Split-Dalmatia County’s budget, in the framework of Program for Development, Protection and Valorization of Maritime Heritage in Split-Dalmatia County in 2021.
