Announcing Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022 Split

Faculty of Economics in Split’s Student Entrepreneurial Incubator, together with Split Entrepreneurship Center, is organizing the seventh Global Entrepreneurship Week Split, in the week November 14-18.

The event takes place once a year in more than 160 countries around the world, celebrating entrepreneurship, innovation and job providers who launch start-ups and turn ideas into reality, promote economic growth and promote well-being in their communities.

This year's program consists of lectures covering areas such as entrepreneurship in the energy sector and public-private partnerships, in addition to which a meetup will be organized with the aim of networking young people and the entrepreneurial community:

• Monday, November 14, 2022, at 10 a.m., Joze Tomaš, president of HGK - Split County Chamber, will give a lecture on "Role of business associations and creating efficient public-private partnerships" (on Zoom).

• Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 10 a.m., Marko List, director of Consultare, will give a lecture on "Bio-waste as a resource in times of energy crisis" (on Zoom).

• Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 3 p.m., Kay Nag, director of the Swedish TV company BothOfUs, will give a lecture on "UN SDG - Public, Private sector and Youth change makers" (on Zoom).

• Thursday, November 17, 2022, 6-8 p.m., in cooperation with Split Tech City, there will be a meetup where, in addition to networking, Suren Markosian will give the lecture "Is investment necessary for startups to succeed on market", at BackBar Plan B.
