The Painting Department’s final exhibition, Production 2023, took place in the Multimedia Cultural Centre. The final exhibition of the Academy of Arts in Split’s Painting Department presents works of undergraduate and graduate students that were realized in various practical courses of the academic year 2022/23 curriculum.

The exhibition gives an insight into the recent student production of the Painting Department, which fosters supporting individual and diverse artistic approaches and interests, as well as familiarity with dominant and new theoretical horizons in the field of visual culture, while not losing sight of fine art (painting) as the basis of artistic creation.

The goal of regular presentations of student works in specific gallery spaces is to gain experience in the process of realizing exhibitions and confronting students with the public’s critical view.
