A two-day international symposium, Croatian-French Days of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law

Croatian-French Days of Administrative Law, a two-day international symposium took place November 15 at the Faculty of Law. Prominent legal experts and scientists from Croatia and France discussed this year’s conference topic „Challenges to the legal rules and freedoms’ system brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters“.

Minister of Justice and Administration, Ivan Malenica, participated in the first day’s discussion, speaking about digitalizing administrative activities and implementing good solutions after the end of the pandemic caused by Covid-19.

University of Split’s Rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., Faculty of Law’s Dean, assoc. prof. Ratko Brnabić Ph.D., Split Mayor, prof. Ivica Puljak Ph.D., representative of the Split-Dalmatia County, Marija Čizmić, President of Croatia’s High Administrative Court, Ante Galić, and Estelle Halimi, Counselor from French Embassy, attended the opening of the fifteenth Croatian-French Days of Administrative Law.

The symposium, running since 2007, is organized by the University of Split and its Faculty of Law, Panthéon Assas University, Paris II, France’s State Council, Croatia’s High Administrative Court, Centre for European Documentation and Research ‘R. Schuman’, supported by Croatia’s Constitutional Court, French Embassy in Croatia, the Split-Dalmatia County, City of Split and sponsored by Croatia’s Ministry of Justice and Administration.
