26th KBF’s International Theological Symposium “Take Care of Yourself! Modernity of an ancient imperative"

26th International Theological Symposium of the Catholic Theological Faculty (KBF) entitled “Take Care of Yourself! Modernity of an Ancient Imperative” will take place on Wednesday, March 17, at the Faculty, Zrinsko-Frankopanska 19. Aim of the symposium is to shed light on the modern presence of the ancient imperative to take care of oneself, in the modern man’s consciousness within liberal capitalist society. It will question the ways in which this imperative emerges, describe the West’s response to it, and confront it with the understanding of man in Christianity. 18 lecturers will attend the conference, three from abroad, six from other Croatian universities and nine from this Faculty.
The symposium will be held in strict compliance with epidemiological measures and limited attendance. All interested will be able to watch the symposium live on the Faculty's YouTube channel, and a recording of it will be available later. The YouTube channel where you can follow the symposium can be accessed at this link.
