Celebrating 25 years of UMAS: an overview of events in January 2022.

This year marks the Academy of Arts in Split’s 25th anniversary (1997-2022), and the Academy began celebrating its foundation last year. The celebration will continue throughout 2022, so a rich cultural and artistic program has been prepared for the month of January. Below is an overview of events:

Venue: Zagreb, SC Gallery and French Pavilion

Opening hours: opening Jan. 13 at 7 p.m.; the exhibition is opened weekdays 12 to 8 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm

Venue: Split, Academy of Arts in Split, Department of Visual Communication Design, Gallery Ctrl+Z (Zagrebačka 3)

Opening hours: opening Jan. 13 at 6 p.m.; the exhibition opened weekdays 9 am to 7 pm

15. 1. 2022. / ŠUMAS / PERFORMANCE

Venue: Split, Academy of Arts in Split, Scene A (Zagrebačka 3)

Time: 7-8 pm

Additional information: Exam production of 1st year acting students’ stage movement, with the guest performance of their colleagues from the Department of Wind Instruments (saxophone and flute).

January 28, 2022 / Academy of Arts in Split’s Night / VARIOUS ACTIVITIES

Venue: Academy of Arts in Split, Gripe Fortress (Glagoljaška bb)

Time: 6-12pm

Additional information: The Night of the Academy of Arts is an event part of the Museum Night, intended for a wider audience. The program includes sales exhibition of student works, workshops, concerts, film screenings, acting performances, presentations of study programs, etc.

Venue: Split, Archaeological Museum in Split (Zrinsko-Frankopanska 25)

Opening hours: the weekdays, 9 am - 2 pm and 4-8 pm

Venue: Split, Vasko Lipovac University Gallery (Ruđera Boškovića 31)

Time of the event: Information on the duration of the exhibition will be published later on. The exhibition will be open weekdays from 9 to 12 am and 5 to 8 pm.
